What Is Jep Robertson's Net Worth?

Jep Robertson is an American reality television personality who has a net worth of $8 million. Jep Robertson became famous as a cast member on the hit reality series "Duck Dynasty." He is the youngest son of Phil and Kay Robertson, the founders of the Duck Commander company. "Duck Dynasty" followed the Robertson family as they lived and worked in Louisiana, where they ran Duck Commander, a company devoted to making bird calls and various other hunting-related merchandise.

Early Life

Jep Robertson was born Jules Jeptha Robertson on May 28, 1978, in Bernice, Louisiana. He faced emotional challenges during his childhood, including a traumatic experience of sexual abuse at age six. In his teens and early twenties, he struggled with addiction to drugs and alcohol. With the support of his family and faith, he overcame those struggles and rebuilt his life, eventually finding fulfillment through marriage, fatherhood, and his role in the family business.

Duck Commander

Jep Robertson has played an active role in the Duck Commander company, the family-owned business founded in 1972 by his father, Phil Robertson. The company began with Phil's invention of a new type of duck call that revolutionized the hunting industry. Over the years, Duck Commander expanded into a national brand offering hunting gear, apparel, DVDs, cookbooks, and other merchandise. Today, the company sells more than 600,000 duck calls annually and continues to be run by Jep's older brother, Willie Robertson, as CEO.

Jep's primary role within the company has involved media production. He has long been responsible for filming and editing many of the family's popular hunting expeditions, which were originally distributed as DVDs and eventually aired on national television. His behind-the-scenes work helped lay the foundation for the family's broader entertainment success and contributed to the company's strong visual brand.

Duck Dynasty

Jep gained national recognition as a cast member on A&E's hit reality series "Duck Dynasty," which aired for 11 seasons from 2012 to 2017. The show followed the lives of the Robertson family as they navigated business, faith, and family in rural Louisiana. It consistently drew between 8 and 10 million viewers per episode, making it one of the most-watched cable programs of its time.

Although Jep was the youngest of Phil and Kay's four sons, he brought a quiet, laid-back presence to the show that resonated with fans. He appeared regularly throughout the series, contributing both on camera and behind it, particularly through his work as a cameraman and editor. Jep also played a lead role in the 2016 spin-off series "Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty," which chronicled his and wife Jessica's journey to adopt their fifth child, Jules Augustus, affectionately known as Gus.

He was also featured in the TV documentary "Duck Commander: Making the Musical," and has been credited as a first-unit cameraman and production manager on several family-related television projects.

Other Work

Outside of Duck Commander and reality television, Jep has explored various business ventures and creative outlets. In 2014, he and Jessica launched a clothing and accessories line called Calvary in collaboration with Australian designers Melissa Core and Rick Caballo. The line features a range of fashion items, including apparel, leather goods, and jewelry, inspired by their shared faith and Southern roots.

In 2018, the couple launched a food truck business in Austin, Texas, called Jep's Southern Roots. The venture allowed them to combine their love of food and hospitality with their desire to try something new outside Louisiana. Serving traditional Southern comfort dishes, the food truck became a way for Jep and Jessica to reconnect with fans while embracing a new lifestyle.

In recent years, Jep has also appeared in Duck Family Treasure, a reality series on Fox Nation that follows Robertson family members on treasure-hunting adventures across the country.

Charity Work

Jep is heavily involved in charity work and often represents his family at an annual fundraiser called the Duck Dash race, which raises money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Jep and Jessica also donate through their fashion label to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Personal Life

Jep is the father of five children with his wife, Jessica Robertson. They met in March 2001 at their mutual hairdresser's shop and got married in October 2001 after only dating for six months. Their children are daughters Lillian Mae "Lily" (born in 2002), Merritt Decatur (born in 2004), and Priscilla June (born in 2006) and sons River Alexander (born in 2008) and Jules Augustus (born in 2015). Jules is better known as "Gus," and Jep and Jessica adopted him as a baby.

Jep has credited his Christian faith with helping him overcome addiction and find purpose in family and work. He speaks openly about his spiritual journey and remains deeply committed to his beliefs, often incorporating them into his public appearances and family life.
